Facilitates the setting of teeth in partial as well as full dentures. Which is very important, because during solidification this wax goes through a phase of high viscosity, which makes it possible to correct the position of the teeth. When cold, it is very hard and does not permit any type of movement at all. Even inside the mouth at 37°C (99°F) it remains totally rigid and thus accidental alterations of the teeth’s positions are avoided. The above noted characteristics explain why this wax also improves the connection between base plate or cast framework and occlusion rims.
