CROWN AND BRIDGE TECHNIQUES

Our extensive choice of dental waxes has
been put up to meet the requirements of den- tal technology. Spot checks and final product- in- spection, as well as the use of especially   selected raw materials ensure the high quality of our dental waxes. We are able to supply
special packings or any type of wax, on re- quest.
All cone-shaped S-U-waxes can be attached to
one another, to form an individual set. Each cone
is protected from contamination by a transparent cap. Nearly all wax cones can be supplied in 500 g economy bars at a favourable price.

S-U-MODELLING WAX, blue

Especially suitable for the waxing
of occlusal sur- faces and the
shaping of crown walls as well as
the building up of bridge pontics
for acrylic and porce- lain veneers.
It distinguishes by its high surface
density. The opaque, strong co-
louring makes it easier to deter
mine the contures while modelling.

S-U-MODELLING WAX, green

A smoother, medium-hard quality
of our approved
S-U-MODELLING WAX, blue (hard)
for the casting technique featuring
the same excellent physical
treatment properties. Due to its
minor hardness this wax presents
improved breakage stability and
thus may be used for all the pro-
cedures of the casting- technique.

S-U-TRANSPA WAX, grey, medium-hard

base for S-U-INLAY WAX GREY
A totally new C+B casting wax with
excellent physical properties, due
to its especially high-quality raw
materials.
    >excellent fluidity; does not lift off;
  contracts to the moistened sur-
  face; especially suitable as un-
derlay wax for inlays or for crown
  borders
>organic coloration, therefore it
  burns totally without leaving any
  residues
>translucent when liquid, there-
  fore, eventual bubbles or conta-
  minations are well visible while
  modelling preparation. Limits
  and solidifying phase are well
  perceptible
>color grey, for lowest possible
  physiological strain on the eyes

Solidus 138°F (59°C)
Price in €:    13,10 ( 1 Cone 45 g)

S-U-INLAY WAX, grey, hard

For chewing surface design. Physical features are similar to
those of S-U-ESTHETIC WAX.
Burns without leaving any resi-
dues, therefore suitable for glass
ceramics
.

S-U-UNDERLAY WAX

S-U-UNDERLAY WAX is to be
used especially for the forming of
cervical borders of crowns, onlays
and inlays. It is a soft casting
wax, which shows almost no con-
traction. Applied to cer- vical bor-
ders of crowns after waxing it
guarantees precise border seals.

Item No. 60 040 01                         Cone 45 g
Solidus 150°F (66°C)
Price in €:    11,00 ( 1 Cone 45 g)

S-U-SECONDARY WAX was es- pecially developed for the produc-
tion of secondary pats for tele-
scope crowns, precision attach-
ments and individual attachments.
It has the unique characteristic of remaining stuck to the metal during solidification, which is due to the exact harmonization of temperature and hardness of the wax. No streaking during further wax-applications.

S-U-INLAY WAX

S-U-INLAY WAX is the ideal wax for
the modelling of inlays, onlays and three quarter crowns. Its special characteristic is that it does not withdraw, i.e. lift off the edges while solidifying. The somewhat smoother winter quality distinguishes by exce-llent flowing and carving properties.

S-U-MILLING WAX, red hard

This wax is a harder version of
the S-U-MODELLING WAX and
thus presents the same rigidity
and surface density. Its special
composition suggests its use
with rotating instruments and
electrically heated instruments
for the building up of primary sec-
tions of telescopic crowns.

S-U-MILLING WAX, blue, extra hard

As its name suggests, this is an
especially hard version although,
unlike the S-U MILLING WAX
red, hard, manufactured accor-
ding to a new recipe. It is organ-
ically coloured and has a high
synthetic content, enabling ho-
mogeneous application. Its ex-
treme surface density makes for
excellent splinter removal when
working with rotating instruments.

S-U-STICKY WAX C+B

particularly suitable for the con-
nection of objects before solder-
ing.Its brittleness when cool pre-
vents the change of po- sition
(distortion) of individual parts.

S-U-CAVIPLANE WAX

For the use of quick blocking out
of cavities in plaster dies. Its high
melting temperature of about
250°F (120°C) makes it possible,
after the usual die lubrication, to
add modelling wax or to make a
cap with the dipping or adapting
method without involving the cor-
responding wax.
